The Yoti Network Operations Center (NOC) team detected an increase in error rates towards our Age Verification Service, after some initial investigation it was determined the root cause was due to a database issue that caused the service to become temporarily unavailable.
Our Infrastructure and Product teams quickly resolved the issue, and fully restored the service back to normal.
During the outage, all affected customers would have been unable to access the service and may have received error messages.
We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused. A full investigation is being conducted to identify any future improvements that can be made.
